Adapting Arpeggios: Dim Maj 7th

The next phrase builds upon the previous idea, but this time doesn’t use the full diminished 7th arpeggio but instead jumps to the b3 or #9 in the context of A7:

But in reality, this is technically a C# diminished Major 7 arpeggio:

We don’t have to over-complicate things however! For me, I just see it scaffolded around the previous diminished 7th ideas. This has got a beautiful sound that we can of course move around in minor 3rds.
For my example solo, I’ve given you couple of escape routes in terms of resolving to the D chord.
